On Wednesday, October 16th, Professeur Muhammad Yunus was invited to give the conclusive session speech at the 14e edition of the French National Forum for Associations & Foundations held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. More than 700 participants from the French non-profit sector attended this session.
In his talk, Pr. Yunus reminded the importance of fighting today’s most pressing issues such as wealth concentration and the dangers of artificial intelligence, for a world of three zeros : zero poverty, unemployment, zero carbon emissions.
Moreover, besides his engagement to create the first inclusive and solidary Olympic & Paralympic Games with Paris 2024 & ESS 2024, he mentioned his ongoing work with the universities and business schools around the world, and notably in France where the first Yunus Social Business Center dedicated to academic research was created at HEC Paris in 2008, to train young people to a new kind of business, know as social business : a non-dividend, non loss business dedicated to solve social and environmental problems.
